You and your martial art films... You know I saw Killzone, the beginning sucks but god damn it has one of the most amazing last 30-40 minutes EVER :wow:

I think this might top it :(
The last 30 seconds of the trailer are insane :wow:

I love Sha Po Lang (Killzone) :cmad:

Don't get me wrong I loved it at the end but the beginning still sucks :(

See that it has no U.S distributer, yet. Weinstein, MGM, or Mangolia will probably pick it up.

Subbed trailer!

ZOMG! :(

Merge, damn it! :cmad:

Dude, do NOT get that DVD release, wait a few months and buy the Dragon Dynasty release :D

I haven't seen it, I mean, I could download it, but Donnie Yen and crew deserve my money.

I take it you've seen Sha Po Lang a.k.a. Kill Zone, right?

Also, Hunter, here's some more info (from me  )...

Btw, Donnie is really maturing as a chorepgrapher (yes, I can talk like this, I've been watching Kung Fu movies since I was 6 years old :cmad: ).
Before, he would mostly film flailing arms close-ups with ridiculous undercranking, but I guess he has learned a lot from Yuen Wo Ping and Sammo Hung (who helpled with the choreography in SPL), because the action here, as in SPL, looks super clear, with very long takes and the camera pulled back.

In SPL he combined amazingly fast kickboxing with *some* wrestling and ju-jitsu, but man, he pulled no punches for Flash Point...

Kickboxing, grappling, ju-jitsu, ground fighting, joint locks....everything meshed up in a style that looks even better than what he did in SPL.

I can't wait

I never download proper movies

That's good to hear, he has always been unlucky to get left behind a bit in breaking the US IMO, this new movie looks like he has got his style down to an art  the MMA stuff in it looks so crisp and fresh.

I didn't know you were from the UK
Man, you get to buy a lot of GREAT stuff with HKL :(
But yeah, DD is starting to become really awesome.

Oh, here's a trailer for Sha Po Lang...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=lvpXsqLxwjM

This is just me, but I really LOVE the movie.
It's a typical cops vs. gangsters story, but I think its simplicity is what makes it so great and watchable, plus you get Donnie Yen, Wu Jing, Sammo Hung and the always awesome acting of Simon Yam, I mean, come on! :cmad:

This is the DD trailer, which is even better: http://www.dragondynasty.com/films/show/75

I don't know if you have a multiregion player, but I think you should import the R1 DVD version of Killzone....the extras are worth it (plus, HKL did not get the rights).

FINALLY got around to seeing this trailer, thanks Gammy  I think you posted some of the final fight between Donnie and Sammo before, it looks like a kick ass flick, I love how pimp Sammo is looking:woot: He's Still got it and is amazingly agile for his age and size.

No problem, dude
And yeah, Sammo is amazing. He was only doubled once or twice in that fight....just a couple of hard falls, everything else he did, I mean damn.

You should go to my Dragon Dynasty thread, you'll probably love some of the stuff in there :D
