Food Critics are unknowingly served McDonalds

I could easily pick 20 other fast food chains that I would eat at before McDonalds.

McDonalds is last for me, and I'm not sure if that's due more to its low quality and general blandness, or the fact it's the most ubiquitous.

Best fast food place is and always will be In-N-Out. Then it'd be stuff like Five Guys and Popeye's. Wendy's and Subway would be in the middle somewhere. And perhaps McDonalds would just edge out Jack-In-The-Box, but that's a special kind of awful.

Subway should be at the bottom of all of your sandwich rankings. That place is ****.

I don't hate Mcdonalds at all. It's occasionally good when I need a cheap, quick food.
Subway is terrible though, not just because of their food but also because they're trying to advertise themselves as a "healthy" alternative to fast food.
My friends mom works in the ER and says more people come in with food poisoning from there than any other restaurant. Eat fresh!

You can stick your McDonalds up your arse you dirty old stop out!

It's a psychological thing. If you think you're served something that you imagine tastes better, then that's what you feel. Not long ago they made a test in Sweden where some people had to decide if ecological fruit tasted better than ordinary fruit. They all said that the fruit marked as ecological tasted better, but the thing was that none of the fruit really was ecological. So I'm not surprised that anyone think McDonalds food tastes good if they're told that it is something fresh and helathier.

Eat at a foreign McDonald's and you'll experience a vast difference. They use higher quality meat and different ingredients seasoning / preparation methods which affects the taste.

As for the food critics, they're a joke since everything is subjective. Thanks to the video, they got:

I used to hate McDonald's but I've eased up on them a little bit. The burgers are ok but nothing special, but what I really like from there is the McGriddle.

For years, my favorite place was Wendy's but either they've changed or I've gotten sick of them. The last time I had a burger there, it was kind of gross.

These days, I prefer Burger King over all.

Last time I went to Wendy's I got sick too, I won't be going back for a veeeery loooooooooong time.

I didn't actually get sick, it's just there was something off-putting about the meat.

By the way... McRib is BACK.

If you order the combo meal, you can get a 2nd McRib for only $1.

It was the pink slime I tell you!

I like McD's shakes and their chicken nuggets. But that's it...their burgers and fries are total crap. If you are going to spend the money on something that barely qualifies as food then at least spend it somewhere else where they actually make real food. :) Go to Fatburger. Same price and better quality. Heck, even Five Guys is better

Not much of a foodie, but I find it hard to believe anyone would have legit high marks for McDonald's burgers in a blind taste test.

Either:

1. McDonalds is much better in Europe than in the US.
2. Europeans don't know what a good burger is and so McDonalds looks better by comparison.
3. The study was rigged.

There is no chance this would happen in the US.

I do get the impression that McDonalds makes them as bad as the gov't will allow them

Royale Au Fromage does sound a little better than Quarter-Pounder.
