The Nascar Thread

Hey guys. Not sure if there are any Nascar fans, but this thread is for that. Daytona 500 coming up. Also would like to add that I created a league for NASCAR Fantasy Live, called 2015 Season by Jaqua for anyone who wants to join.

But racers, how we feeling about this season?

I'm not a fan of the new chase format. It essentially takes the excitement out of the regular season and now they have basically created their own game 7 championship. I'm not a fan of manufactured drama in sports. It has to develop on it's own.

As far as the upcoming season goes, I like Carl Edwards to win the championship. Kenseth and Harvick proved themselves with their new teams. I think he can do the same.

Congrats to Logano on winning the Daytona 500.

I love the 2003 ESPY video at the 4:15 mark where it shows Jordan, Patrick Roy, Ewing, Stockton and David Robinson. Chills.

I just love watching these videos over and over. Really puts sports in perspective.
