Barricade disappearing doesn't bug me that much. I figure he just got run off the road

Well, it makes Barricade seem like one of those cowardly Decepticons, which is fine with me, lol. Perhaps he sees Megatron appear in the sequel and be like, "Megatron, my Lord, you have returned.", and Megatron can reply, "But you won't." and rips out his spark.

Well the reason I would like it to be Megatron instead is because Barricade and Blackout are the ones that are truthful and loyal to Megatron, or what their bios say in wikipedia.org, so with Barricade trying to serve Megatron again, but with him disappearing after the final battle in the first movie, Megatron should know this and not tolerate it.

As far as I know, Scorpinok is alive too. so for the next film they could of been left on earth to keep tabs on the Autobots.
