What a great year for movies.

Yeah... Come to think of it "Shawshank Redemption" or "Quiz Show" deserved it over "Gump" as well... I never saw "Four Weddings" so I can't make a case for that one.

Yeah, 94 kicked some ass. I think True Lies was that year too. I was working at a theater that year. It was great.

definitely one of my all time faves. the ultimate underdog story. both Zemeckis's and Hanks's best works of art in my opinion. i can watch this movie 20 times in a row and still not be tired of it. my only complaint is that i, personally, wish it were longer.
