So, I'd have thrown this into the "fan art" section but we've finally reached a point where it's totally legit. We're making an animated TV pilot that centers around 5 characters inside a MMORPG. You never see the actual PLAYERS of the game, only their characters. The party is made up of... four tanks and a healer. The premise of the cartoon series is that you absolutely cannot succeed the regular way in an RPG without a balanced team. As a result, the team is forced to do things it's own way and to try and outsmart the game itself, which doesn't always work out.
It's done in the same style of humor as our "fan films", "Batman's Gonna Get Shot in the Face" and "The Greatest Fan Film of All Time", but with a more cohesive story and original characters. I don't really gain anything from showing you guys this but I'm pretty excited and I'm really bored at the moment so I figured I'd share.
We've been offered money from investors but we're leaning towards choosing to raise it on our own in order to keep creative control.
