Studio is the onlly one really having the say in the matter. I'd bet on another sequel in a heartbeat.
what if they end up both taking the fountain of youth water.....and they do part 5...where it takes place in the modern world with them still alive....lol

Haha, if it were the 80's it might have happened.....
I missed Zoe as well. She should definantly come back as Jack's love interest.A movie about Jack and Barbossa searching for the Fountain of Youth would be awesome. As for the absence of Will and Liz...just replace them with new characters. Whatever happened to Zoe Saldana's character? Remember she was the black female crew member in Jack's ship in the first movie? They should bring her back.

I want to see a sequel about Jack and Barbossa after the fountain of youth...later.
Ditto, they left the ending open like that for a reason...so I want to see where they will go with it.

They left it open, but I bet there wasn't a specific reason for it.
It was left open so the sense of adventure would seem to continue past the movie. So it would leave with it's head held high. So it would end with a positively and enthusiastically.
As for there actually being a 4, people do have to think about it. Why would Pirates just go on and on? Disney wouldn't do it. It's just like X4 and Spider-Man 4. They say that they are in consideration and will happen, but we all know that it more than likely won't happen.
