Fox pulls out of Comic-Con

This to me is highly, highly odd. I can see them pulling out some films because they weren't ready with certain clips, but to pull out completely??? Fox continues to confuse the hell outta me.

I don't know AvP2 could be good. I wanted to hear stuff on Babylon A.D. Glad they took away hitman though. That looks horrible.

No disrespect to Timothy Olyphant, but he does not look intimidating, dangerous, tough, or mean as the Hitman at all.

AVP = bad commercial studio crap.

AVP 2 will equal more of the same.

avp2 is sounding to be pleasant.

The movie is going to bomb. The first one was lucky to do as well as it did due to the novelty and interest of the concept.

At least they had the sense not to make another Freddy vs. Jason.

Where did you get Timothy Dalton he isn't in Hitman? The silly bad guy from Die Hard 4 is the hitman.

For starters it spits in the face of the best of both franchises and is nowhere near as good. The editing sucks, the actors suck. The writing sucks. Paul Anderson is a hack and doesn't understand at all what made the classics good and had to put his bad drool over everything.

The predators looked TERRIBLE in AVP and none of them brought a fraction to the table of what Kevin Peter Hall did in the role.

Its Timothy Olyphant, and strangely, I would be first in line to see a Hitman movie with Timothy Dalton.

It was a weird slip, I wonder why. I think deep down that's who I want to see play the role.

But yeah, even a 60 year old Dalton would make a better Hitman than Olyphant.

Yeah, I don't trust Fox to release an R-rated version of the movie.

And an R-rating won't automatically make it better. I've seen plenty of R-rated movies that are trash.

The rating was the least of AVP's problems, it mostly punctuated how bad and disrespectful the new venture was.

Yikes. So basically FOX is saying, "Hitman sucks and we don't want to show it."

Crap, I was actually kinda hoping it would surprise us all.

You only need to see the clips of Olyphant as Hitman to see how bad it will be.

Plus most video game movies suck anyway, and most of them usually don't make money.

And sometimes, I honestly don't understand the reverance some fans have for games as sacred material. That when a movie does get made like that movie is sacred material as well.

The Halo fans are a lot like this. At the end of the day, Halo's not some fresh original concept. It's just a fun sci-fi shoot 'em up game.
