Universal Studios Home Entertainment has officially announced its upcoming Blu-ray release of The Magicians: Season One. The four-disc set will be available for purchase on July 19.
Brittany Curran (Dear White People) is set for a major recurring role on the second season of Syfys drama series The Magicians. Based on the bestselling novels from Lev Grossman, The Magicians centers on Quentin (Jason Ralph), a brilliant grad student chosen to attend Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, a secret upstate New York university specializing in magic.
Curran will play Fen, the Fillorian wife of Eliot (Hale Appleman). Curran recently recurred on NBCs Chicago Fire and Freeforms Twisted. Shes repped by Don Buchwald & Associates, Luber Roklin Entertainment and attorney Mark Temple.

Manji will play Tick Pickwick, a character in Fillory who is a royal advisor. Manjis credits include Outsourced and Schitts Creek, and feature The Wolf Of Wall Street. Hes repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Multiethnic Talent.

Based on the bestselling novels from Lev Grossman, The Magicians centers on Quentin (Jason Ralph), a brilliant grad student chosen to attend Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy, a secret upstate New York university specializing in magic. Escarpeta will play Prince Ess, a handsome, rugged, pelt-clad man, with a sort of frat bro air of entitlement and the ruler of Loria. Escarpeta, a series regular on NBCs American Dreams for three seasons, also played co-starred as Bobby Brown in Lifetime movie Whitney. His feature work includes Into The Storm and Final Destination 5.
Covert Affairs alum Christopher Gorham is set for a recurring role on the second season of Syfys The Magicians. Q is not as annoying on the show... but, I will say.
I ike that Q is a **** sometimes. He's fallible, fails, and struggles. Q's not your typical YA/sci-fi lead in print or live action.
