FOX's The Exorcist

when the theme kicked in at the end I was like :awesome:

Me too. Coupled with me just visiting Universal Halloween Horror Nights, and going through the Exorcist house, this was a good watch. Much better than I was expecting.

some of the possession effects were creepy as hell like the close up of that boy's eye with an extra pupil/iris area etc.

That scene in the attic was genuinely creepy. Ill keep tuning in. Hopefully it stays good and isnt canceled or ****ed up by Fox.

This was something originally I was gonna pass on and wasn't sure about. But I love the original film and am a huge horror fan, so finally watched the pilot tonight. And I gotta say I really enjoyed this a lot.

It has my interest. It will be interesting to see how they stretch this out a full season. But the little boy's exorcism and attic scene were pretty creepy. Definitely made the classic head turn something I do not want to see.

I also love the call back to the original film that they had.

Sith are you talking about the callback to the original film when he was researching online and came across the article?

And that attic scene was really creepy and nicely done. So was that little twist didn't see that coming.

This episode was soooo much better then the pilot. Really enjoyed it.

Me, too. Though I am not a fan of watching people puke. :(

Yay, pea soup! Though the bugs, CGI they may be, really creeped me out. Definitely enjoying, but I am still curious to see how this works out as a series beyond one season.

That would be fine by me. :)

They definitely upped the creep factor in episode 2, IMO. The beginning with the younger daughter and the voice was

Yeah, it's not bad.

Of course, how she is visualizing the demon in her head and her interactions with him is also quite creepy.

I just watched the first episode last night, the attic scene was definitely unsettling. I'll be tuning in for the rest of the series.

That one scene. Y'all know which one:

I was visiting adamthewoo YouTube channel and stumbled upon this, pretty neat.

Considering this is a "taking place in the same universe" kind of thing, rather than a blatant remake, they gotta get Linda Blair in there. Wouldn't hurt the ratings to do it sooner rather than later either.

That would be great if they could get her involved with this new series. I wonder if she still acts, or has she retired?
