I think it would be awesome to see Bruce Timm and Paul Dini bring their animated character, Freakazoid, to the DCU.

I was reading on wikipedia that, originally, Timm wanted to make the show into a more serious teen superhero story, but it ended up becoming more comedic. Bringing it to DC Comics, since the show was done by Warner Bros who own DC, could be a great opportunity for Timm to do the character as he originally intended and bring Dini along to write a series.

I think it would kick all kinds off ass.

It could be cool I mean it could work out if handled by the right people.

No. Timm and Dini pitched the original Freakazoid concept as a series for the Creeper. Spielberg changed it into Freakazoid, and so Dini and Timm made their original "freakzoid" pitch into the Batman season 4 episode "Beware the Creeper."

So if you are looking for a freakazoid taken seriously in the comics, look no further than the creeper.

A serious teen superhero story called Freakazoid? I think your information is wrong.

And Elongated Man is Plastic Man...
Actually, he is. He was developed so they wouldn't have to hash out rights for Plastic Man. It's a very similar story to the Freakazoid/Creeper story.

Oh well then that solves that debate, i think i like freakazoids costume better though.

I went as Freakazoid for halloween when i was in kindergarten.

Lucky I couldnt find that costume that year!

Ironic, because I am going as Mirror-Universe Spock THIS YEAR for halloween. ****ing wild.

And my Freakazoid costume was homemade, mostly a red sweatsuit.

Freakazoid's pretty much a ripoff of Madman anyway, so just read that.
