Yeah, that's dumb. Everybody knows you go to a liquor store and buy a bottle. It's cheaper, and you don't have to be bothered by other people.

Yep, Marvel really ages their young mutants. I was thinking when I read X-Men: Divided We Stand (or whatever it's called), when did Sam Guthrie and his sister suddenly become drinking age and able to go into bars. (Not to mention how the writer just sent a message that when you are going through tough times, you go and get drunk in a bar.)

Sam is drinking age. Hell, he was 17 or 18 when he joined the New Mutants. He, Moonstar, Sunspot, and Karma are like 21-22. Wolfsbane is 19 or 20 (same age as Paige). Paige didn't order any alcohol (I don't think).
