Hello everyone, I'm more a «silent reader» than a poster here, but I've always enjoyed your discussions, quite insightful (usually!). Let me point out that what I want to ask is in no way intended as the promotion of a website, a product or a gimmick...

Anyways, I wanted to know what is this «get some free stuff in exchange for applying to a 30 day trial». Here's a link to a video explaining what this is about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

I searched the threads, I didn't see one about this. I think its worth discussing...opinions?

uhhhh?...

no, I'm not a Bot! come on guys I would really like your opinion on this!

wow this is funny and sad at the same time. Let me tell you, being mistaken for a program is a weird feeling! anyways, if anyone has an opinion about what I posted, feel free to speak up.

«end of transmission»...lol

A bot that joined in 2004 and has over 500 posts? lol. Anyways, this thread is funny.

that's exactly why he's a bot...he's the new generation of bots designed to gain our trust first.

(I have over 500 posts? wow I never bothered to check!)

I watched the youtube clip and I even went to the site. Very interesting offer but requires hard work, though. I wanted to opt for the XBOX 360 Elite Platinum but to do so I need to acquire 1220 points which amounts to me taking up one offer from about 100 advertisers to choose from and referring the advertisers to 12 of other people and getting them to sign up. Once I've completed that task, then only will they send me my XBOX 360 Elite Platinum.

So, it's not as easy as you think. Nevertheless, I was ready to take up the challenge. But when I read the terms and conditions, I couldn't participate because I reside outside of the US and Canada. Bummer.

It's too much hard work actually, and with some previous experience of trying to get a free Wii from a site like this, they usually charge your card up front on the offers.
