Friend Is A Victim Of Stalking...

I called the police. They can't do anything. She has to file the police.
If She's a minor, talk to her parents. I'm pretty sure they can file themselves, if you're in the US.
If, that doesn't work, get a counselor to talk to your friend about the importance of calling the police, if possible.

Yep, it's at the point where she not only calls the police. But she should also get a restraining order on him and she should arm herself. Pepper spray to start off with. Gun after some training.

There was incident a few days ago on the local news where an ex-hubby shot and killed his ex-wife. He had been stalking and threatening her since they separated. He would always show up at the school that she worked at. And that's where he killed her.

You need to encourage your friend to do something.
Yep, I grew up in a nice neighborhood and all, but we had my grandma's next door neighbor get murdered by his new girlfriend's ex-husband because he was stalking her. He killed himself later that same night.

Your friend needs to get help before something bad happens.

I have friend who is a victim of stalking.
In the past 2 weeks the stalking has escalated to the point he's showing up at her school daily.

I have feeling it's only going to get worse...

She refuses to call the police, or even tell her parents about this.

I'm wanting to call the police and ask what to do...
What should i do?

Sounds like she has a boyfriend and you're not pleased about it. lol

Pick her up the book Obsession by John Douglas.
He's a former FBI profiler who might clear a few things up for this girl.

This is her ex boyfriend....

She's not a minor, she's 22.

Well I encouraged her to do something and lost her friendship...

Ah, that explains why she won't do anything about it. I'm sure there's misplaced feelings or something still floating around from this guy. Maybe she will wise up.

However, being the ex-boyfriend, it could turn out like the situations I or X-Ray posted. Hope not though.

Could also be that the guy goes to the school and she is over reacting? That happens too. Are you sure the guy is a threat? Don't white knight just because you think your girl is on the up and up, because she may not be. I've learned much better than to automatically assume the sweet and innocent victim is really a victim when they complain about things like this.

Not to sound like a d*** Angry Monkey , but why are you asking advice about a serious situation on an online forum ?

lol somebody got friendzoned, tried to white knight, failed. Don't worry she won't not be your friend for long she'll get bored and try to contact you again.

This is going to sound sexist as crap, but why are girls/women so frikkin stupid!?! some of my best friends are girls and it hurts me so much that they let this kinda stuff happen to them. But they won't do anything about it. so all I can do is watch, listen to them when they're aggravated/hurt, and hope they wise up before something bad happens.

I've asked my patents, 4 friends and couple of other people.
Not just you guys.

I wanted to be very sure of what to do.

You're overreacting dude. Relax.

Still say you should stalk him though.

No. We're not friends anymore. I don't know what's happening with her.

Why did encouraging her to do something about a stalker cost you her friendship?
