Who's Raven and what did he/she say that got some people wanting a boycott?

Raven Symone is the girl from Disney's "That's So Raven' and she played Oliva as a kid on the Cosby Show. She is now a co host on the talk show "The View". Basically, she and Candace Cameron (DJ) got into a little argument about the couple that refused to bake a cake for the lesbian couple. Since Raven is a lesbian and Candace is religious (christian) they butted heads on the show a few weeks ago. Some people were talking about boycotting Fuller House because of Candace's personal opinions on marriage and stuff, since it goes against popular opinion. But I wouldn't worry about it, as most people seem to have forgot about it. The show is shaping up to be pretty decent with most of the cast coming back (minus the Olsen twins).

My question is why the worry for the Olsen twins? They only need one of them.

I heard rumors online that one or both of them will return for at least one episode. Not sure if this is true or not but I saw the article last week.

Well I don't agree with Candace's believes and opinions but still love DJ and so I still want her on the show and the show deserves a chance of at least a season

At the end of the day, Respect and tolerance is NOT a one way street so both Candace and Raven's viewpoints shouldn't be demonized. Neither Christians nor Homosexuals should act like over sensitive bullies that want to force everyone into sharing their viewpoints. So in that regard I'm glad that whole issue had been forgotten because the whole "Boycott because a cast member doesn't share my views" nonsense is a ridiculous reason to hinder a form of entertainment

I share Candace Christian beliefs but like Sweetre posted its stupid to boycott a show or any form entertainment because an actor or producer or whatever doesn't have the same opinion or views as you. Respect and tolerance is a two way street. So I am glad people have either let that situation go or just forgot about it. I was skeptical at first because the original show honestly isn't the greatest when you view it without your notalgia glasses on. But I am hoping the Netflix show will improve on the short comings of the original show.

Girl Meets World is a great example of a spin-off of a classic show done in a bit of a different perspective.

Good to see that they are bringing back the actual actors who played Nicky and Alex rather than recast like Girl Meets World did with Josh.

We have it on our Canadian Netflix. I was actually gonna try and re-watch some of it before the new series. Made it about 10 minutes into the pilot before turning it off. Man, it was so much worse than I remember.
