If this wasn't G.I. Joe and just some other random movie, i would say it looked like something I might like. But having the knowledge that it is G.I. Joe, or at least supposed to be, leaves me with doubts.

Flat out, it's just plain 'too flashy.' Too many bells and whistles and not enough horsepower. My belief is that this movie is going to move way to fast for the original fans of G.I. Joe. I don't see the charcaters having much depth and their build up will be half-ass. I think it might be worse than Max Payne.

They really should've went with my idea.

Too flashy?? GI Joe, if I recall, was the epitome of flashy among the 80's cartoons with the over the top vehicles, COBRAs' daily world domination schemes, and the fact that Duke did everything in a short sleeved khaki shirt....

See I think the opposite. If it were some random movie I'd say it looked like it was going to be a cheesey pile of garbage. But knowing it's a G.I. Joe movie makes it an acceptable action flick.

Unfortunately, this new trailer doesn't alleviate my reservation about the movie. The robo-suits still look ridiculous, and seeing the Joes jumping around and defying gravity just make the whole premise rather laughable. And I'm not surprised that they refused to show us CC's look just yet, whereas Bay doesn't mind showing us Devastator (but he tries to keep Fallen somewhat under wraps). Too bad.
