Funny or not?

Not everyone craps puppies and rainbows, it doesn't have to have a happy ending to be funny.

Most things with happy endings are NOT funny because they're too happy. However, I just don't find a 5 year old with cancer to be humorous.

See, I'm a huge fan of the show. I laugh at all the racial jokes, religion bashing, and everything else. Never before have I seen Matt and Trey do something that was just....mean. I'm hardly offended as I don't know what it's like to have/die from cancer. I just think the area isn't one for jokes.

Agreed. And hey, if anyone should be offended I think I'm in that category considering my uncle died from cancer and my mother had cancer this past year, but I'm not offended at all. Just don't find the subject of cancer to be funny at all.

I don't remember saying that. The kids losing is ok, they were playing a pro team. The kid with cancer could have just continued to have cancer at the end of the episode. Everybody knew he would most likely die, but only people like you enjoy seeing it.

True. The thing about this type of humor is that somebody's always gonna find it tasteless and unfunny. Up until now, I've never been that person. It was 10 seasons in the making.

See, I almost didn't believe that anybody could laugh at this so I just wanted to find out(should have made a poll I guess). The point wasn't a debate/argument at all; just a simple "funny" or "not" and maybe a brief reason why.

I guess if some sickos could laugh at Columbine after it happened, anything has the potential to be "funny"
