I'll have to agree. Family Guy may sometimes top Futurama in laugh out loud crazyness, but Futurama has way more heart. Luck of the Fryrish and Jurassic Bark can bring a man to tears.

What do you guys mean by it has more heart. I don't get it

Since its a comedy, I'm basing what I say on the humor of the show.
And if I had to make a list of fox's late night cartoons from funniest to least
I'd say-
1.Family Guy
2.King of the hill
3Futurama
4.Simpsond
5.American Dad

family guy has a weak main story but makes up for it with the random cut aways that have almost nothing to do with the show, Futurama is number one based souly on it's ability to have solid stories

I actually like Family Guy, mostly because of the baby, but Futurama wins it for me. It and Simpsons are my favorite animated programs. See the pattern here?

But seriously, its one great show that ended too soon. The show hit it off right from the first season, when shows usually take more time to grow. Simpsons had to grow through the second season to become a truly great show. But Futurama was there from end of season 1. And thats because of its instantly classic characters (Bender anyone?) and very funny storylines. Its also more adult than the Simpsons, and the characters actually age in the show too.

Luckily, it'll pick up after 2008, and will go on like Simpsons... One can only hope.

Agreed, Futurama was great! Good thing cartoon network still runs it. Haven't caught any new Simpsons so if they're still on the air I guess they haven't lost it yet? Venture Brothers is great too!
