Halle Berry is NOT a classic Bond girl. She is perhaps the worst Bond girl in the series.

Dianna Rigg had fame with the The Avengers but she atleast had talent and acting ability.

Ursula Andress was not famous til after doing "Dr. No".

And yes I want unknown Actress to be the next Bond girl.

No more well-known American actress in the Bond films.

...And Diana Rigg wasn't exactly a big star outside England when she was cast as Tracy. Most of the time, they casted (relatively) unknown actresses, and it worked very well this way. Berry was just vulgar as a Bond girl and unbelievable as a spy. Let's not make this mistake again.

Like many of Fleming's classic Bond girls, she is essential in the allegorical struggle between Bond and the Villain. She is a damsel in distress, but also Bond's sexual reward for saving the day.

hey, i support Hollywood needing more new/diverse actors, but not for the wrong roles...Aishwariya Rai..lets face it....doesn't have much range and she cannot pull of Talia...Talia is a devilishly charming seductress who also happens to be evil..or shall we say morally flexible? None of Aishwariya's roles suggest she can take on the character of Talia.
