Don't get too cocky. The battle ain't over yet. It still has to be presented before the Supreme Court AND the two gay couples STILL have to present their arguments.

The judge just essentially said that the lawsuits could go forth, and that it was unconstitutional. So, really, gay marriage in California is "on hold" for the moment (or, at least it was last time I read an update). It's a great victory, but the war over there isn't over yet.

But -- YAYZORS! -- Prop 8 is down!

umm we don't live in the same state. And knowing my mom... there's no way i could say all i wanted to say or needed to in person anyway. I wanted to get it all out

no she got it. my mom and aunt are flying out here for west hollywoods halloween carnival. im 99.9% sure she already knew... but while my aunt said she's read it and "will be fine" and that "she loved me" she's not given me a call yet... so now i have an awkward 8 hours to wait...

she is. im just her baby is all... so i think shes more emotional about the part of me holding it back so long, and being afraid etc...

Just got off the phone with my mom, apparently she couldn't view the email on her phone, so had my dad log into her account (there divorced), and had him read it to her over the phone.... while he bawled, and she bawled, and she told me she still loved me, and that she was only sad that i've held it in for 6 or 7 years, and said no one should have to go through that.

I so can't wait for this music video, because it's so my anthem lately... and sometimes even makes me get a bit teary eyed. So powerful. And for me being someone who's shy and depressed at times it really gives me hope. Especially during this.
