Gal Gadot is Hedy Lamarr

Millenial Hypster: What the **** are you talking about?

Saw a little bit of Hedy Lamarr's story in Timeless and it was really intriguing, great role for Gal to nab.

It's a good role for her to get but I honestly don't think that she has the acting range for something like this or at least I haven't seen it from her yet.

This makes me thing about Strange Angle TV show, a mix of Crowley occultism and rocket science. In this case a mix of Hollywood stuff and science.

Wonder Woman and Catwoman. Cool.

It's actually just in recent years that I learned about Lamarr also being an inventor with a patent as early as in 1942. This could be a pretty interesting story.

I think this is why it's a good move by her. Too many people doubt her acting ability. I really hope it shows a side to her that people haven't seen yet.

I'll agree with you there. Because so far all her line deliveries do fall flat to me. I mean she is very attractive and all but she reminds me a lot like Scarlett Johansson who is all looks but horrible on line delivery.

Whitney Frost in Agent Carter's second season was loosely based on her.

That was a great character.

But there's also a character in the Iron Man comic named Whitney Frost, AKA Madame Masque. I thought she had something to do with something.

I think that the Agent Carter rendition was a MCU'ing of the Iron Man comics character. And then Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D had Agent 33 brainwashed by Hydra have the Madame Masque technology fail and fuse to her face like the Iron Man character. I guess Feige let it be known that she was not going to be used and TV could have her

Could have her? You make it sound like the character is just leftover trash.

Well maybe they are trash as far as Feige is concerned with his boss pushing that TV and movies are, or were all connected. So if an Agents show used a character that actor or take on a character was supposed to be locked in should a movie director wanted to use her. Just as the movie versions of Asgradians and S.H.I.E.L.D Agents were not changed when they appeared on an Agents show.

So a few characters , Whitney Frost/Madame Masque, Graviton, the Absorbing Man and Daisy Johnson/Quake seemed to be set aside to allow TV to do with as they pleased without concerns of breaking canon due to dueling versions of the same characters as happens in the worlds of DC. So "trash" to Feige or just knowing that he does and will never have unlimited hours to show every character who appeared in a book and his boss also made money from TV and thus everything could not be reserved for the movie screens

This could have been what Introducing Dorthy Dandridge was to Halle Berry for Megan Fox but she has zero interest in biopics or really applying herself with acting.

You can thank her directly for the existence of WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.

Will be very interested to see how she gets on with this.

Didn't realise this was a TV series. I thought it was going to be a movie. Anyway, i'll be interested to watch this. It's a great role for Gal.

Hedy's character showed up in both Timeless and Legends of Tomorrow. I can't remember which episode was which now.

It could be, thought it was just a plot for one of those shows.

I think Hedy Lamarr was to Wifi what William Moulton Marston was to the lie detector test.
