Gal Gadot is Hedy Lamarr

You can thank her directly for the existence of WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.
Oh, come on; that's a bit much.
She had a brilliant notion, but it wasn't even original; Willem Broertjes patented a similar concept a decade before her. Furthermore, while she had a great idea, she could not work out a way to implement it, and the actual device was worked out by inventors of an independently developed frequency hopping method did a patent search. Wifi, GPS, and Bluetooth have clearly documented histories in which Lamarr played no part whatsoever.
Again, her concept was brilliant, and deserves recognition, but let's not go nuts.

Ah I see.

The development of Wi Fi as we use it now was owing to mid 90's work by CSIRO however the concept at large was not theirs.

That's why I say that Hedy Lamarr was to Wifi what William Moulton Marston was to the lie detector test. Marston developed an early form of the lie detector using sistolic blood pressure. They don't use that now. It's different to how he first conceived it. But he was a forerunner of the modern day test, just like Lamarr was a forerunner of modern day Wifi.

Here we go again.

There's even a claim that Tesla put in a patent that was basically about frequency-hopping.

The claim that Tesla/Broertjes invented frequency hopping isn't supported by the evidence.

Tesla's patent merely highlights the problem of increased receiver susceptibility to interference at high frequencies due to the presence of harmonics. Tesla's patent offers a description of a problem; it does *not* propose any solution.

Willem Broertjes' proposal relates to the switching of frequencies for the purpose of achieving secrecy; this is unrelated to frequency-hopping as intended for interference suppression.

There's plenty of prior art regarding frequency hopping, If you are interested have a look at my book: Spread Spectrum: Hedy Lammar and the mobile phone. There's no doubt that Hedy and co-patentee George Antheil brought some glamour to the scene and came up (with technical help) with a scheme for controlling torpedoes, but most people go to far in their need to have glamorous woman change the world.
