Shenmue 1 and 2. Jesus christ do they need to finish this series already because I STILL want to kick Lan Di's ass!

It's just how much you get emersed in the game. You actually LIVE as this guy and everything is up to you. It's almost a perfect game if not THE perfect games. The fighting system alone was just beautiful and the story...man, anyone else actually find themselves falling for that girl even though she's a fictional character?

God of War is one of the most emotional action games I've ever played. Man, I felt so bad when

Aries impaled him with that pillar just as he was leaving the tower. The look on his face just said it all and the narration made me feel even worse.

. Then there's

the reveal that he was the one responsible for the death of his family

. Just heartwrenching stuff. Very emotionally driven game...Then there were all the monsters that scared the **** out of me and I dreaded fighting like the Minotaurs and Cyclops'. There was even MUSIC that started to play to scare you in advance.

And of course there's the Metal Gear Solid series, hands down.

it was a hell of a long ending, from dragging your love along with you, to shooting the boss before you were both blown away....
