Ok, I was clicking through youtube and saw

Now, in the comments someone put in "The Gayest Show in History" and my immediate reaction was (not posted) "Not by a longshot". But it got me to wondering, what the Gayest Show in History would be?

Ellen?
Will & Grace?

Ellen had seasons where Ellen was still in the closet. I'd go with Will & Grace or Glee. (There's currently 2 bisexual girls, 3 gay boys) and the musical element.

Torchwood is pretty gay too though. Everyone in that cast dabbled in the same sex at some point.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Not for any overt reason, but a lot of the themes reflect the gay experience.

I would say Queer as Folk since the entire show was centered around gay characters...

Seseme Street with Bert & Ernie?

Bert and Ernie weren't gay.
Abbot and Costello weren't gay.
Laurel and Hardy weren't gay.
Martin and Lewis weren't gay

I hate it when people say Bert and Ernie are gay.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Franklin aka Petunia - you have to remember a lot of the older shows couldn't show gay relationships - it just wasn't permitted.

What about Felix Unger & Oscar Madison (the Odd Couple)?

Probably anything with Fran Drescher in it.

The Nanny? I can't think of a single gay relationship in The Nanny... unless the Butler did it with his boss... :wow:

Not really storyline-wise, just the general feel of the thing. I mean, I ****ing love Glee, but I could not sit through an episode of that show if I tried.

A banger in the mouth. :o

The L Word? I haven't seen it so I can't say definitively, but I'd assume a show that is basically called lesbians would have to be pretty centered on gay relationships.

Gay as in gay? 'Queer as folk'

Gay as in lame? 'Homeboys in outer space'

Remember when every christian fundie was convinced the purple Teletubby was gay? And part of a secret plan to turn children watching the show gay?

I had almost forgotten how ******ed that was.

That was ridiculous. Everybody knows it was the green one that was gay.
