Valve's rules regarding what developers "shouldn't publish on Steam" have a new clause regarding standards set forth by payment processors.

Valve should be directly deciding what’s on their platform/store - not the banks and credit card companies. They’ve effectively washed their hands of minding the store and outsourced it to big money. A lot of ‘games’ I never would have put on the platform in the first place - including low effort software and AI slop.

The thing was bound to fail for what it is...but the arrogance and the absolute disaster of a PR stunt at the Gamefest, accelerated that.
Its a generic Live Service Shooter that in no way or form is anything special, but selling that and then act like you redefine the FPS genre...was just incredible dumb.
