I hope the Indie scene keeps building itself up, because sooner or later the Mainstream Gaming Industry will fall apart, because guess what...a Monopol never is good.
Giving China and Saudi Arabia the Monopol in the industry will implode it sooner or later, i guarantee it.
But what do the Rich CEOs care? They are not the ones who will have to deal with the fallout.

Right about now, the EA gamers should drop FC and other EA games to set a signal...but there is 0% chance that will happen.
The Gamers didnt fight DLC and Live service, they sure as hell wont fight this sadly.

The next step in this is that hundreds if not thousands of people get fired, more aggressive monetization will happen, less creativity because Saudi Arabia is all for Censorship etc.

I think outside of the Dead Space Remake a few years ago I have not bought an EA game in more than 15 years. Not that there's no value in some of the IP, but there is no value in any of it under EA. Especially in these hands.
