I saw this story in my social media feed this AM. This dude is GARBAGE and it's shocking he got off for murder. The sad truth is the jury in the case was made up of white people (mostly white women from what I read) and they automatically assumed a black teen in a hoodie was a thug and a threat so that believed zimmerman should have been able to blast him away. Racism has gone no where in the country. But if the roles were reversed Trayvon would be sitting in a jail cell no question about it.

Zimmerman has always been proud that he murdered Martin. That retweet is surprising to no one whom actually follows this man. He is a bad person, he is a scumbag.

Nope.

Had it been the other way around it is entirely possible both would be dead because Trayvon probably would have been shot by the cops.

Your Twitter can be banned for being a spam account, or if you are constantly harassing someone (some Twits who harassed Robin William's daughter after he died were banned). You're not going to be banned however for generally offensive speech or whatever.

That's not quite true... FB only removes offensive posts if a lot of people report it. And even then a lot of times the report can be appealed and the post returned. Its got to be something really extreme to merit a final takedown.

I basically told one troll who was inciting a DC vs Marvel flame war in the comments to 'eff off' and got banned from commenting for 24 hours.

Scared the living snot outta me since i had that account since i was 14 that i just let them continue on with the war.

Apparently someone else tweeted it first, along with the comment "Z-Man is a one man army", then Zimmerman himself retweeted it to his 10,000 + followers.

The fact that Zimmerman has 10,000 Twitter followers is disturbing enough in itself.

That man is less than pond scum. Im holding out hope that karma comes back around and bites him in the ass.

You'd think he would realize that if he ever goes to prison someone will be looking to put him in his place real quick. He will be someone's ***** faster than he can scream and thats if some black prisoner doesnt open his throat ear to ear.

Funny... Walking home is now considered up to no good? C'mon craig... You're better than that. If someone accosted me on my way home for no reason it very well could turn into a fight. George Z. minds his own business and someone doesn't end up dead. Martin was a citizen going home armed with Skittles. He doesn't have to be a saint or whatever (and what supposedly marks him as a "thug" in some people's eye, well, when it's OUR family member or son we say it's youth, someone else as they are a menace) for that to be true. He wasn't involved in a criminal act and was going home when a person unknown to him accosted him for no reason.

No. You have to keep in mind that Florida's law is very poorly written. Even though Zimmerman instigated the incident, Martin still opened up Zimmerman's right to lethal use of force. Witnesses and Zimmerman's injuries prove that Martin used moves that threatened Zimmerman's life. And if Zimmerman were killed, he would have most likely been charged with something and found guilty.

In this instance, I don't see it as an issue of racism or a bad jury or even a bad prosecution. The jury made the right decision in this case because they have to follow what is the law, not what is right. It's a case of a very bad law that needs to get fixed ASAP IMO.

A friend lived near an ex-girlfriend of his after he beat her up, she called the cops on him, then he made a blockade to shoot at cops when they arrived and arrested him. In all honesty, in a Zimmerman vs. ISIS scenario, I think I'd probably be (begrudgingly) rooting for ISIS.

I refuse to believe that if George Zimmerman had shot and killed an unarmed white teenager in a gated community that he would not have spent the night in jail. He might have been found innocent at a later date, but that's besides the point.

If Trayvon Martin had shot Zimmerman, he would probably have been killed by the police, or been arrested and convicted of manslaughter or murder.

George Zimmerman to Auction Off Gun That Killed Trayvon Martin

George Zimmerman says he is auctioning off the pistol he used to kill Trayvon Martin, the unarmed black teen whose murder he was acquitted of in 2013.

In an interview with Florida’s WOGX, Zimmerman explained that the Justice Department recently returned the weapon and he believed it was time to “move past the firearm” that he would otherwise “put in a safe for [his] grandkids.”

Zimmerman also said he was unconcerned with how critics might react to the sale.

“They’re not going to be bidding on it, so I couldn’t care less about them,” said Zimmerman.“I’m a free American. I can do what I like with my possessions.”

In the auction description, Zimmerman calls the gun “a piece of American History” and makes multiple references to his perceived enemies, including “B. Hussein Obama.”

“The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin,” writes Zimmerman. “I am proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds will be used to: fight BLM violence against Law Enforcement officers, ensure the demise of Angela Correy’s persecution career and Hillary Clinton’s anti-firearm rhetoric.”

In a statement, The Trayvon Martin Foundation said they were focussed on their mission to end senseless gun violence and had no comment.
