That's why I included the imposed non-fatal brain damage and mental deterioration through addiction.

But you had to cause a physcial action for those to take place.:o

"Love means never having to say you're sorry." :)
I'd imagine that would f**k things up for christians who need to confess their sins and ask for forgiveness in order to get god's love and get into heaven.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is a pretty great way to fight of depression. It's sure saved my ass a few times these last four months.

It's not just that it's a great show, but just the way that it's great makes it so good for when you're feeling bummed.

But there are plenty of mental/emotional things that will not kill you in any way and yet are supremely debilitating, destroy your life, send you into a helpless downward spiral and then you die, very, very weak...and WAY weaker than you were in your heyday. :o:o

Let's just agree, it's a stupid thing to say.

Wrong, Jorge. I loved that thread. That was the most perfect thread I've seen in weeks. Even better than muscles' abortive seafood adventure thread that almost saved the Hype.
I fight because I'm really bugged by that stupid statement. :)

are they really talking about vaginas in your avy?

When I was in high school there were days when all I could do was go out into the woods and scream or cry. I was just so frustrated, angry, lonely, upset. THANK HEAVEN'S THAT IS OVER. I would never want to be a teenager again.

After high school, the worst day of my life was the day my Hubby had his seizure. I held myself together for the sake of our son (only 6 months old at the time), but it was harder than anything I had ever done before.

A loving family helps a lot when times get really rough. You need someone to hold your hand and let you know that even if the worst happens they will be there with you and you are not alone.

^ She's right. School is bull. Its an unnatural environment and you're unlikely to be in one similar again. Once college comes around people grow up and you wonder what all the fuss was about.

I imagined myself as a migrant farm worker with a big hat.

have any of guys been in a real difficult situation where you were'nt sure what wa sgoing in your life and everything felt it was coming all apart? and although you've struggeled to get through, you just feel like it is'nt enough. rather it be school, work or just personal issues.

Yes.

I guess so.

I've been clinically depressed the majority of my life.

and suicidal.

For some reason that always seems to happen to me every december. Career falls apart, love life falls apart, run out of money, everything. Just finished going through the cycle again really recently. It's pretty bizarre, I gotta say. Ivy's "I Hate December" has become my theme song. The upside I guess is that every time it happens, I end up going in a new, and more self-actualized direction either towards the end of the month, or January (starting a little early this year actually). I'm not sure if there's any advice in there, but I'm glad to be moving away from my annual december crash.
Same with me. I go through the same thing every year. December is the **** month for me, despite being my birth month.
