Ghost Rider IS Being Screened

^ Because you can't read. Is one week early the last minute when they just finished the film like 10 days ago???

75 people see it tomorrow. 75 people trained to say whatever nice things Sony asks them to. That's hardly a "screening." These people have no minds of their own. They just want free hotels, perks, and to gaze at stars.

When a studio is behind a film, they screen it. Even unfinished. They're holding RIDER until the last minute - the evening of the 15th. That's not a good sign.

Like I wrote in the deleted thread, I loved DAREDEVIL and I'm looking for RIDER, but this screening debacle is fishy, and nobody, even the director, has directly commented on it.

I wish I could be blind to this like you. But unlike you, I don't swallow everything that's being shoveled here.

I'm no hater; that's pedestrian thinking. Aim higher for yourself.

^ They did comment on it. You act like this is some big conspiracy and you're after someone because of it. This is a movie. Get a grip. Go see it like everyone else on the 16th and write your already predetermined negative review. Jeez. Did you know MSJ gave the order to go to war in Iraq??? Yep he's responsible for it all. The war was a deception to take the focus of the pre-production on Ghost Rider. And he personally told bush to send more troops knowing some of them were critics so they couldn't screen the film. It's all true and the President is covering it up.

Bye Harry.

Good lord. I think you need this website: www.basicreadingskills.com

Harry? I don't get it...

^ Oh I get it your a disgruntled critic that was fired from The Onion cause you couldn't get in on a screening.

You're on ignore. Don't bother responding.

Well I guess now the cat is out of the bag... Yep, SHH was the first and so far the only site to see the film...

I'd like to thank MSJ & Sony for allowing us in on such a cool flick! :ghost:
Well Excelsior, I'm glad we at SHH are getting all the attention from all involved with GR, it's kind of waisted on those other boards. :D

A 38-year-old overweight Marvel employee with serious Peter Pan issues just put me on ignore. Hilarious. Good to know when confronted with questions he can't process or answer, he folds like a towel.

UH, SHOULD I COME BACK LATER?

"RUNS FOR HIS LIFE, BEFORE HARRY SITS ON HIM!!!" :oldrazz: :D

There is a possibility that they just wanted a last minute media blitz for the movie, or felt that's all that was needed. Movies are marketed much differently depending on what the movie is. This movie will speak for itself and therefor doesn't need months or weeks of critic reviews.

I'm going to see this movie...period. If you're a fan...you're a fan. If not and must rely on critics to form an opinion then wait. Nobody said anyone has to watch the film the minute it comes out. Good post FH and thanks for the advice. :)

Then why cut out print media?

See, it's doesn't add up.

Either way, I have no reason to care why they're marketing the way they are. I'm going to see it, more than two times for sure. I see no point in thinking about these things when they don't affect me in the slightest... and I'm not sure why anybody would dwell on it.

Because they want to start trouble.

Oh, I know. I'm just trying to keep the conversation at least civil. I have no problem with people not wanting to see this movie or hating it already. It's just how people portray it is the key.

^ Yep. It's clearly someone with a grudge. I'll let him scream into the void of ignoreland. Remember he already voted in the poll that GR was a poor movie when he hasn't seen it. This person isn't rational.

Anyway, let's talk about Avi and Gary again. Awesome that they dropped by.

^ Very awesome. I was wondering when Gary would come back. I wonder if they're even in the US right now or overseas.

WHY cut them out?
Let's see over 80% of them that a critique on FF said that it was COPIED from the Impossibles, it was obvious that those people did NO RESERCH on the FF, and that goes for many of the so called PROFESSIONAL critics in the print field that have been around for MANY years.
Just an example, I'm sure there's more.

Good questions about an important topic = grudge.

Can't answer the questions or entertain the ideas, resulting in inane lashing out = Advance Dark.

Advance Dark = typical MySpace fanboy who can't fathom the bigger picture.

Why does this board tolerate this guy?

P.S. I didn't know the polls were scientific around her; a picture into the soul of a moviegoer. How's this: I didn't see the results button, and hit the wrong link. Nahhh, couldn't be that... I HAVE A GRUDGE! That's fits better into your childish dismissal of a very interesting topic.

I have a feeling I'm not on ignore. :)

Because they want to start trouble.

How is any of this "trouble"?

Jesus man, did I miss the Kool-Aid tray around here?

I guess we'll all find out on the 16th. I can't wait to read the reactions, though now they'll all be tainted because...

a) I dared to suggest the film might not be up to quality because of the late screenings.

b) Starf***er types like Advance Dark who insist on kissing ass to feed their need for acceptance.

I'll leave this alone now. I'll let the film speak for itself since nobody else is allowed to around here.

Please provide some examples of this. I would love to read those reviews.

So freaking true. It's also the same professional in the print who claim Ghost Rider isn't being screened and opening "cold". LOL

For the record, since this guy can't be bothered to get the facts right: "cold" is an industry standard term, and applies to Thursday-only screenings as well.

Always has, always will.
