I hate how she over enunciates italian words.

What she does isn't called over eunciating, its called actually pronouncing them correctly.

The word mozarella for example, the "ella" is supposed to be a "el-la" not "eluh".

Cool, like in grazi.

wow, two pages and not one joke about her and a "white sauce," I'm ALMOST disappointed...

^Hahaha!
I get that a lot. :p

Si = Yes
Prego = You're welcome. In response when someone thanks you.

Odd, the literal translation is I pray. I suppose its a colloqialism? Kind of like in Spanish your welcome is "de nada" which literally translated isn't you're welcome either.

I prefer Prego to Ragu but the best, imo, is Barilla pasta sauce.

I'm afraid I don't understand. Why are you praying?
Praying?
You must have used the online translator. :o

Yeah, they suck. :o

Barilla is pretty good I suppose, its the one that Giada endorses..

But like I said I like making my own sauces. Marinara is relatively easy to make, imo.

What brand did she endorse?

Marinara IS easy to make and I do make them myself sometimes.

She endorsed Barilla.

How do you do your marinara? I start off sauteing(sp?) onions and garlic in some olive oil, then I add the tomatos(Roma and sun-dried) and herbs(flat-leaf parsley and basil). I like to put in a bit of sugar too, to cut the acidity of the sauce. If I'm using it to make a meat gravy I then let the meat simmer in the sauce for awhile too, and I like to add Worcestershire and peppers.
