Did geoff johns do a origin story of GL
please help:word:

I've bought this, and read it, enjoying it a great deal. I used it as an introduction to Green Lantern, so what would you consider for me to read next?

What can GL NOT make with his ring?

A good start would be picking up Green Lantern #43, out in shops today. That marks the beginning of The Blackest Night, which - with the various tie-ins, will basically be a weekly series over the next several months.

In terms of older stories, now I'd probably go back to the beginning of Johns' run, and work your way through the graphic novels collecting the series:

Rebirth
No Fear
Revenge of the Green Lanterns
Wanted: Hal Jordan
The Sinestro Corps War, Volumes 1 & 2
Rage of the Red Lanterns

protica-interesting.................................
keyser soze-thanks, i have read The Sinestro Corps War, Volumes 1 & 2,rebirth,and i have started to read blackest knight

What can GL NOT make with his ring?

Something he doesn't know about or can't imagine. For example, he couldn't produce an image of the winning line-up for the 2016 Major League World Series championship team, because he doesn't know that. Now on the flip side, he could will his ring to take him to the future so that he could see the winner and then produce the image.

another question(s)
who is the villian, how much fighting is in there, and is it GR form yet

The villain of Secret Origins? That would be Atrocitus, which you've seen by now, I'm sure, in those stories you mentioned above. It also has Hector Hammond as a secondary, earthbound villain.

As for fighting, there is a fair bit throughout, but there's also a lot of expository about Jordan's past and how it's influencing him at the time of the story.

one more:is it out yet on paperback(or hardcover) form?

Can he make green Kryptonite with his ring?

i dont think the ring is capable of time travel. unless hal is capable of imagining a fully functioning time travel machine....which he isnt.

Yes. As the comic above portrays.

A power-ring is capable of recreating kryptonite radiation.

And the Corp Database probably has it on file, so you'd just have to verbally command your ring to replicate the radiation.
