Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer South American Adventure Comedy

I just hope there's actual South American characters who are actual character and who are smart. I just don't want two blond white Americans in a different country.

Oh yay I was wondering the other day what happened to Goldie Hawn

Not a Schumer fan, but I'm glad she got Goldie out of retirement. Hawn was part of my childhood growing up, and it was discouraging to see her retire.

Meh. It's a pity that Goldie Hawn's big screen comeback is in... this. It doesn't look very funny. But then again I didn't have any big expecations for this, despite Jonathan Levine being at the helm.
Looks like a Paul Feig leftover.

lolz

Just going off of that trailer, Goldie Hawn looks and sounds like she doesn't even want to be there.

Considering they don't really identify which country it is in the trailer, I wouldn't count on it.

Will always love Goldie Hawn. Shame she has to be in a movie with Schumer.

LOL everyone hates Amy Schumer. She should just embrace the hate and make a sitcom called Everybody Hates Amy.

It would be a really original idea straight from her mind

It wouldn't really be an original idea by her though, would basically be a ripoff of Everybody Hates Chris haha.

I thought Trainwreck was a fairly decent movie just way too long, bad pacing and a bunch of scenes that go on longer than they should, or a handful of scenes and subplots that go nowhere and the movie didn't need at all.

The only funny thing about this movie is that Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are facing off at the box office this weekend.

I was just riffing on her reputation as someone who steals material and repackages it for her own uses haha

I don't mind Amy, but this right here was a mistake. It's nice to see Goldie again, but the concept is just so...dated, especially with two white people being the leads in their madcap adventure across Latin America. It could've worked with some charm in the 80s, but not now.

The idea itself could work if you tweak it.

Maybe have Aubrey Plaza playing a young jaded American who wants to get in touch with her Latina American roots, and she meets up with her crazy aunt in a South American country. Like Sofía Vergara.
