Hey all! Looking for fun and entertaining podcasts with not so much music playing but more just a bunch of people just talking about current events and stuff.

I'm currently listening to Seven Second Delay (two dudes, talking about current events and stuff with callers) and Stop Podcasting Yourself (two comedians with guests and callers) which I can really recommend.

Any suggestions? What podcasts are you listening to?

EDIT: Also, I blame the misspelling in the thread title on lack of caffeine.

I use to listen to How Stuff Works, Things You Missed in History Class but I stopped listening because the girls I liked were attractive left.

I'm a big fan of the Kevin Smith's Podcasts, Smodcast, Jay and Silent Bob Get Old and Hollywood Babble-on with Kevin Smith and Ralph Garmin. Hollywood Babble-on deals with a lot of current events in the entertainment industry. The other two and really just Smith talking to his friends about whatever subjects they think about.

Roosterteeth Podcast (Drunk Tank)

Actually not enough said. Watch their "Drunk Tank Animated Adventures" on Youtube to get an idea of it and see if it's what you're into.

What these champs said.

I'm a big fan of IGNs Knocking Boots podcast. Its basically a bunch of guys (and sometimes girls) who read letters asking for dating and relationship advice. They usually do it while they are drunk or are drinking so its usually filled with a bunch of hilarious moments.

^^^ah yeah I listen to several of IGNs podcasts, they are truly high quality entertainment :D SCOOP!

There has def been a bunch to keep you busy! I have been watching a bunch of Revision 3 podcast, or videocasts if you will, but Digg Nation is cool (Though it just ended) Totally Rad Show is fun. There are also audio formats for each of them I believe and both can be downloaded through iTunes.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the slashfilmcast podcast

I used to also liked Kino Katey from cineblend, but they can be so snobby and pretentious sometimes about movies...

If your a fan of movies I suggest the BBC Kermode And Mayo Film Show podcast.

Its pure 'Wittertainment' as the duo dub the show. Mark Kermode is a British film critic and musician and Simon Mayo is a broadcaster. Together they are referred to as the 'good doctors' (Kermode has a PHD & Mayo has an honorary doctorate).

There is various bickering and 'Kermoden rants' involving Marks giant hands.

Kermode does lots of funny impressions of various actors and directors. There are lots of running jokes too.

Lots of celebrity interviews including regular contributions from friends of the show such as actors Jason Issacs, Micheal Sheen and David Morrissey. They provide alot of funny anecdote like Jason Issacs talking about seeing Patrick Stewart dancing to rave music and Cillian Murphy jogging through north London.

Oh God, I'm loving the latest podcast of Doug Loves Movies with Patton Oswalt and David Cross.

Two of my favorite comedic actors/comedians..

I'm in the same camp with "Hollywood Babble-On" but I'd also recommend "We Are Geeks Not Nerds," a great podcast conducted by Captain Logan and Vince, the guys that also head the Geekvolution content.

Here's the link to the podcast as well as their Website and YouTube channel respectively:

These guys know their stuff and regularly discuss everything related to Pop Culture with particular focus on Comic Books and Super Heroes, although they also dicuss Movies, TV, Video Games, etc. They've got a BUNCH of stuff to listen to, they do annual awards, Captain Logan conducts my favorite of the YT shows which is "Superhero Rewind" and the topics they cover in the podcast are incredibly fascinating.

Spill.com has some great podcast.

check out out A Couple of Cold Ones, Lets Do This!, and League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen

But you're from Austin...How can we tell you're not biased? :p

You're not...one of them...are you?

Smodcast and Hollywood Babylon have been mentioned, but those are my go to's.

I give Comic Geek Speak a listen sometimes but it's kind of hit or miss. And sometimes those guys get so geeky and nitpicky that it makes this place seem normal.

Adam Carolla's podcast is hysterical

This was the one I was going to say. They just ramble on about the most random **** sometimes, but it's highly entertaining.
