The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Connection Between the Chamber of 6, Fedora Guy and The Vulture/Doc Ock Harnesses

I think Chris Cooper is saying "The Future."

"We have plans for you Peter Parker" might be Masse.

Infact,I can 100% say with confirmation that the latter line is said by Chris Cooper.

To support that statement,I will present both the clips of recent Superbowl Ad and his Oscars award speech.

 A couple pages back I posted the Breach trailer. Cooper's vocal range was perfectly displayed in it.

I still think its hard to know if it is 100% Cooper… but i think its likely its him.

Never mind… its Cooper. I can totally picture him saying it. Here is what makes me curious though… what is the context of the scene where he actually says that though?

Yeah, his voice from all the clips matches up to the line. It's obviously him.Very slim chance of somebody else.Infact,I would call it 98 to 2 on the success ratio.

So then Cooper is also saying, "The Future," but he sounds very sick there. This could mean that he gets "cured" at some point in the movie?

Hard to figure out the context. Perhaps a flashback where he sees a young Peter post-plane crash? Perhaps a brief scene of him monitoring Peter's actions at Oscorp. Maybe it's not in the film at all (which would be VERY disappointing to me). I don't think they chat face-to-face, though. I really just don't know, though.

I can imagine him saying this on the deathbed. This will definately come before Harry meets him and he is watching the Peter on surveilance cam.

False. At 1:33 you can see in the trailer what he sounds like when he is sick and it doesn't sound anything like that vocal range. It doesn't match at all.

I'll post the Massee clips again just for comparison with The Future line(around 1:20-1:24).

Around 0:35 in this one

He has that shaking voice that matches with the voice that says it.

The voice that says 'The Future' is a little too deep for Massee. I still think that's Norman as well.

Unless Cooper is monotone, he won't necessarily sound the same at all times. I think it could be him saying "the future" but IDK. Don't just say "FALSE" as if you know for a fact it is not him.

Have to wait until the movie comes out to understand all the context.

I agree with spider shadow, the death bed voice doesn't match.

The dialog of "we have plans for you, Peter Parker" most closely matches what we heard from Massee at the end of TASM1 when he said "Did you tell the boy the truth about his father?", IMO.

"The future" sounds like Norman to me. And I still think the "we have plans for you Peter Parker" is gonna be TMINTS

I am sorry If I came across as close minded but I don't think that is even in Cooper's vocal range. That shakyness that is in the line is a natural characteristic of the voice which I don't see with Cooper.

You know what I was watching Marton Csokas who is listed as Dr.Kafka and he definately seems to have that deep voice that The Future line sounds like.

If it isn't him then only one person is left and that's Colm Feore.

Dr. Kafka could be the one saying, "the future." Interesting…

They probably just work together. Norman could have ties with Ravencroft or some kind of control, but we'll see.

Just listened to both the mid-credits scene from TASM1 and the "we have plans for you" dialog from the sizzle, and I'm almost positive they are the same actor, which would mean Michael Massee.

In the mid-credits scene he says the words "doctor" and "boy" with a certain inflection (kind of a vibrato), which is way too similar to the inflection/vibrato used in the words "plans" and "you" from the sizzle.

I'll be very surprised if this "plans for you, Peter Parker" dialog isn't from TMITS, which will still be played by Michael Massee.

This is what is making everything confusing: on the one hand, you have posters saying they are 100% certain that its Masse, then you have others saying it is definitely Cooper.

I'm going crazy here.

I do agree that the "the future" sounds like someone totally different than the "we have plans for you".

So, either way, it means that there is someone else other than Norman. Now I am wondering if that shot of Harry is from the Electro amping process and not him watching the fedora guy come down the elevator. If so, it is possible that there are two scenes with two different guys.

Scene one would be where/when Harry is transformed into the Goblin. This could be around the time he asks "what is all of this?", and the Engineer helping him (Otto? or Smythe) replies "the future" (sounds almost like a German accent) and then there could still be a mid or post credits scene with TMITS coming down the elevator, opening the chamber doors, walking past all of the cool Sinister Six stuff and then saying (maybe while looking at a video of Peter) the "we have plans for you, Peter Parker" dialog. This would be in keeping with this idea of the man in the shadows, who will become more important in the third film. Michael Massee would ultimately be listed in the credits, once again, as Man in the shadows.

Hmm.........

It's Cooper. Just believe that and you'll be fine. I'll be dishing out 'I told you so's once the movie comes out. Cuz I'm a vindictive ass. ;)
