Any batman works besides Frank Millers stuff?
Frankly, I can't stand the mans material, I'd much rather read Hush or the Long Halloween than DKR or Year One. Heck, I couldn't even finish DKR, the art, the story, the writing style, it was all so terrible for me I couldn't even finish reading it...

So lemme put this another way, Are there any good tpb's by Dennis O'neill or someone comparable out there?
I like a heroic, confident, self-assured Batman. Not a man who screams at little kids, or doubts his own abilities.

yea i kinda skipped through DKR, kinda makes it better lol.

Hush is good, Kingdom Come is the best, and Secret idenity is great

Secret Identity? I haven't even heard of that one...

Could you give me some details please?

Thats a Superman, not a Batman... if you want O'Neil Batman there's always Tales of the Demon and the Neal Adams collections.

It's the tale of a young guy, inhabiting our real world (no superheros or no superheroics of any kind,) who just happens to have been named Clark Kent...(whose life is made none the more enjoyable, being the brunt of many Superman jokes throughout his life...)
and then one day he finds out, he actually does have Superman's powers...and then we see how a man of such power may operate in the real world.

It's really good.
