Google Announced Gmail $$ Money Transfer Feature

    As awesome as this sounds, especially for people who do freelance work, I can't see this NOT going wrong somehow. Spam emails that hack into accounts via Gmail which have to have all your bank account info.

    Just seems like another way to lose money over the internet. Your thoughts?

    Now grandma doesn't even need to give her bank account information to send the Persian Prince his money to help his uncle get out of jail! She's just clicks away from throwing away her whole life savings!

    If grandma is that dumb, she deserves it.

    I see nothing wrong with this. It's an extra service to go along with the existing Google Wallet which not many people use anyway. As long as you're smart about your email password (which should always be your strongest password), and don't give in to phishing scams (which is always good advice), you'll be fine.
