This is the official "SWAP" thread where you can trade comics or trades you no longer want with other hypsters in return for comics or trades you might be looking for that they might have.

There's a similar thread over at JINXWORLD which has been really successful without any complaints or problems.

Users will simply post a list of books they have to offer as well as a list of books they are interested in if they like.

Trading discussion can either be done in this thread or through PMs.

Obviously with something like this,there comes a level of responsibility and accountability on everyone's part.To put it in lamen's terms:

1. don't "offer" books which you don't really have
2. don't settle on an agreement and not send the books
3. don't settle on an agreement and then change your mind
4. keep in contact with whoever you are dealing to update them on when you are sending the books

....and so on and so on.So please,no snakes,sneakyheads or scammers!

Users will also be able to update their lists as time passes.

Presumably if we're gonna do this there has to be an element of like for like. I mean my books are imaculate so I don't wanna trade for some dog eared old copy of a book that's half way to splitting in two. I'm just saying there has to be some element of mediation, perhaps get a mod to supervise the thread.

Definitely.I think it should be the owner's responsibility to mention the condition of the books when the specifics are being discussed with whoever you're trading with.

I've got a copy of the first secret wars which isn't in perfect condition but I'd be willing to trade that for a standard 6 issue ultimate tpb or something since the condition means I've either gotta look for a similar condition book or a cheaper one.
