Graphics Cards

So my graphics card pretty much died, and I need a replacement. I'm trying to figure out the cheapest thing I can get that would be at least a small improvement over the last one I had. I tried to figure this stuff out for myself, but the suffixes and prefixes on all the different choices made my head spin. I was using, I think, an Nvidia Geforce fx 5200. Any ideas on what would be a slight improvement, at the lowest cost possible?

Well, answer as if he did, because I'm using that exact same card, and, well, Orgrimarr on the weekend is NOT a fun place to be.

Chances are it will be an AGP connection to your motherboard and most are now done in PCI express.

If you do no gamming just buy what ever you can afford most likely will be faster than what you have anyway

Newegg.com has the best prices and customer support. I buy all my stuff from them. What motherboard do you have?
Was it AGP or PCI?

Can you belive it, my grapics card is already out of date to play splinter cell double agent

Needs Shader modual 3.0 and mine is on 2.0 grrr everything else is fine to play it just that ****ty thing, gonna wait till the modles with 4.0 come down then buy a pci express one

I was pissed because I picked up a 7900GT in October and then the 8800s were announced and the price dropped.
