finally a movie with no sound in space. it makes it so much more eerie imo.

cgi gives you 100% freedom. but you still need the talent of composition and logical camera movement. a lot of them tryed in the last years.

Cuarón is winning.

anyone noticed there is no in your face digital orange and blue colors? because Cuarón has common sense. he knows what color balance means.

So much **** over Cuaron....... This is space, near Earth, of course there won't be your typical blockbuster color scheme, you need to stop jerking off dude.

i will not stop. not today :)

i was hyped for this before Bullock was cast. remember RDJ was in the movie? but then he decided to make more Marvel money.

The colour schemes in movies set in space (or containing space scenes) differ. Just look at the TF3 space scenes. Not even close to this one. Cuaron is a director to fap to.

This and Elysium to look forward to, I may end up feeling spoiled... As long as they are both good that is... :)

DAMN good clip! However, my only fear is that some smeghead on youtube will take that video and set it to "You Spin My Head Right Round, Baby, Right Round" just to be an idiot. Curse that spinning long-shot....

EDIT: Never mind about the times I posted earlier. I goofed.

I am still blown away by Children of Men and Little Princess, also re-imagining Harry Potter for the Azkaban film...Man is easily becoming the top 5 directors in the game.

I wish I could partake in this circle fap. But I would rather this piece of cinematic glory (as you implicate) assault my eyes in a big movie theater.

is the trailer available in 1080p HD?

I'm going to have panic attacks while watching this movie.

Lovely. Now that damn Bowie song's stuck in my head. Friggen' banner.

I'm going to have panic attacks while watching this movie.
I think when the movie is released we'll read about how people felt like throwing up :hehe:

Everything I've seen from this movie does nothing for me. If it's just the situation of Sandra Bullock floating in space for 2 hours... I don't care. And I can't stand George Clooney.

Man I wish this technical ingenuity had been applied toward a more imaginative purpose. Is somebody panicking in space the most interesting scenario/story Cuaron could come up with? An unbroken tracking shot trumps character development and narrative dynamics?

That whole experience would scare the **** out of me. And said **** would promptly collect in the bag attached to my suit.
