Will he be more like Morbius or the Joker? He's really not what I think of with Skeletor. I know they aren't having a big budget but couldn't they even get someone with the gravitas of Frank Langella? I would even have him back again.

I don't really like it but I would hope Travis Knight sees something in him that I do not. I mean I hope Travis Knight is having say in the casting and has good instincts here. I don't like the idea, but truthfully, I think I dislike Sacha Baron Cohen in the role more.

Between this and Tron, maybe it’s time for Leto to cool with the nerds again .

I forgot Travis Knight was directing this so that gives me hope that this might actually be good.

Travis Knight is the main reason I have faith in the project for now.

I'm not a huge fan of Leto as an actor or anything, but he is an Academy Award winner. Also, while I hated his version of the Joker, that version was also co-created by David Ayer as well. And I think the problem with the theatrical cut of Suicide Squad is making Joker seem more like a benevolent antihero who wants to save his girlfriend.

I was gonna say, he's taken plenty of paycheck roles. Hobbs and Shaw, Cats, The Dark Tower, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, etc. but I'd also prefer him as Skeletor in this case.

Yeah I think so. I'd rather see him play the main villain rather than Man at Arms.

Honestly I've never seen Idris Elba like this "high calibre" actor. Him playing Man-At-Arms sounds exactly like the kind of thing he would agree to.

Idris Elba would be better as Mer Man. I could see him as Squiddish Rex. Or as Hordak.

Eh, Idris is a good fit for Duncan. I can see it.

Elba has been reduced to 5 seconds cameo in that horrible Thor film....its not beneath him

Yeah he also did that stupid movie where he was trapped in a car fighting a lion. That one sucked too. I love Elba but he’s definitely taken some crappy roles. I don’t blame the guy; sometimes you have to take what’s offered to you.

But with Elba’s casting, Galatzine will really have to bulk up for this though because you can’t have Duncan being bulkier than He-Man.
