Great Shows the Hit the Wall in Season 2

What are some shows (in your opinion) that had a GREAT first season and fell apart when they came back? Here are ones that come to mind, for me:

Heroes: One of the best first seasons of any show in recent years, only to be ruined by the most mediocre, predictable follow-up I’ve ever seen.

Working: Anyone remember this show? The first season was flat-out HILARIOUS… I actually thought it might be a comeback for Fred Savage. But in Season 2, they replaced some actors and couldn’t keep up the funnyness.

Lost: I know, plenty of you will disagree with me on this one. And I’ve heard that the show got really good again. Maybe so. But after the abysmal second season of this show, I wasn’t up for a third or more. I just didn’t give a crap anymore.

I've sat here and thought about it and really I keep thinking of shows in the 3rd season that hit the wall (The OC, Prison Break, Lost*)

But I will say The OC sort of got a little off in the 2nd half of season 2.

***Lost Season 3, the first half just didn't work good for me, but the 2nd half was awesome

Twin Peaks apparently got terrible by season two.

Heroes. Heroes rocked the first season. Everything up until the finale.. Then everything after that........

Twin Peaks apparently got terrible by season two.

Not really. It was still amazing. The problem were the ratings, not the quality of the show.

Yeah, there are a lot of mixed feelings about Twin Peaks. I haven't seen enough of it to accurately comment on it. But from what I gather, if you were watching it because the murder mystery intrigued you, then you would think the second season sucked. However, if the characters and the overall weirdness of the show itself was what you enjoyed, then you probably loved Season 2.
