Clint Eastwood and Sean Connery. Those guys are over 70 and could still kick most guys half their age asses.

Ray Winestone as well.

Yep, thats who I'm gonna pick. Even in real life he could knock a lot of people out. He is a West Ham fan as well! :cwink:

"I'M THE DADDY NOW!!"

For a real tough guy, people should check out "Scum". Proper film that is.

It's Harry Callahan, Joe, Manco, Blondie, The Man With No Name, Josey Wales, William Munney, The Stranger, Frank Morris............It's Clint Eastwood. A symbol of masculinity all over the world. An idol.

OTHER:

Toshiro Mulifune!!!!
Î have to agree with this fella right here(even if the name is horribly misspelled). Because the actors in the poll are all good not great. Few are not even good.

Yea but you don't really need to be a great actor to be a great action hero. Look at Arnie and Sly and Jean Claude. None of them are really great actors, barring a few great performances. But in their hey day any film that they were in was a guaranteed box office smash.

Willis all the way.....

tough, charming and funny ....what else ?:woot:

And Ringo in Tombstone was just a sick, twisted bad ass muthatrucka!

I totally agree but Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday is THE coolest character in any movie EVER IMO.

"I'll be your huckleberry."

You just don't get any cooler than that.

Yea that whole film was just pure bad ass.

And i've just realized, Deadpool has used that exact line before.

Val Kilmer ten years ago would've made an awesome Deadpool. I just realized this.

Hmmm......thats a great shout. I think Reynolds will nail it though, he loves Deadpool.

Which reminds me, what about Wesley Snipes? He is a bad ass and is a hard bastard in real life as well. He'd probably knock Arnie, Sly and Willis out anyway.

I guess you can take the title for the thread in 2 different ways. 'Favorit tough guy actor' would maybe be more suited.

Oh yeah, right now I don't think there is anybody better suited to play DP than Reynolds. However, if he would've been in a movie in the nineties or even maybe early 2000's, I think Val Kilmer would've done a superb job with the role.

Why The Duke isn't winning this means more people need to watch his movies.

John Wayne? Maybe it's because I'm not American but every single film i've seen of his wasn't all that. In fact they are cheesy. Americans don't even make the best Westerns, Europeans do i'm afraid.

Tough poll, but in the end Clint got my vote :yay:

Holy Crap! I Just noticed Kirk Douglas is on the list twice! How the hell did I do that!?
Damn it!
Maybe we can make believe one of those is Arnie?

is Kirk Douglas really tough enough to be on there twice?
Wow, i did not notice that post just above mine..

^ Yeah, I guess I blew that one, huh?
Kirk's pretty tough...matter of fact he and Burt Lancaster made the movie "Tough Guys"
But no, the twice thing was total freaking mistake.

Haha, it's cool. I think we've all done that once or twice when creating a poll. Anyway, I voted for Eastwood. I'm not a huge fan of his, but I don't think I've ever seen him in a role where he didn't come off tough as nails. Most of the other guys on that list have (which might make them better actors, arguably) but I think Clint immediately jumps to everyone's mind when you say "tough guy actor."
