What do you consider to be the greatest modern day legend and icon of the modern movies of today. I decided to make a poll on the older actors that will shape a new generation of future iconic actors.
This is a ofcourse a poll. With Darth Elektra and the good thread that was put up. I thaught i would do one of my own but this being a poll and not a tournament. Focusing on older actors.
I doubt it will go over so well but hey i am bored so what else is there to do but make a poll.
I shall select 24 season and middle aged actors who are icons and legends in my standized poll. Do realize no one is perfect should i miss a good veteran actor.

Hahaha, hilarious options.
Yeah, Michael GamBON is the "best modern day icon".
All the kids wanna grow up to be Albert Finney!:up:
lol :whatever:

And it's "NiCHolson", my man.:up:

So why isn't Keanu Reeves (Matrix), Will Smith (MIB, Independence Day, Bad Boys), Ben Stiller, Vin Diesal, Will Farrel, Leonardo Decaprio, Jamie Fox, etc... People who are actually movie icons at the moment... Harrison Ford hasn't had a hit since the 80s unless you consider Hollywood Homicide a major breakthrough for his career. Syvestor Stallone is a bum now outside of a minor comeback with Rocky Balboa. Burt Reynolds, wtf are you smoking, he's best known for the man-law commericials now. Peter O'Toole is an icon of the second golden age of films, the 60s....

its funny how you didnt include the people who are NOW the modern day movie icons....because those choices are so not modern day..sean connery is modern day? wtf?

exactly

Modern Day Icon doesn't neccessarially mean they can act well, just look at James Dean he's the crappiest actor I've ever seen but he's just like Keanu Reeves he just has that stupid look about him of seriousness.

Jack Nickelson:up::huh::up:

I wouldn't say he was crappy - maybe below average, but like Brando said, given more time he could have been a good maybe even great actor. However, Keanu hasn't grown at all as an actor.
