You didn't get my post right. I made a list of the worst movies of Bale, where his acting was still on top.

So that's why I didn't put there this movie.

ah, you can order an american copy from amazon, but I have a region2 player and feel weird about unlcoking or chipping

Their DVD discs don't play in my region (which is 5), so it won't make sense.

ANyway, I am going to leave Russia next year (I'll move to US), so it's not so big problem for me.

British actors tend to be over-rated for me (being British I guess I deserve a say) Daniel Craig is a perfect example of this. Before Bond he was average but had the perfect look for the role.

I'm a huge fan of Christian Bale. It's not just the Batman thing either. I like how he "becomes" whatever character he portrays, for me he is a modern day Robert Deniro (who is pretty much my idol)

To put on an accent to promote and help sell a movie shows his character for me. Sadly he will always be ignored because he played a superhero.

Although you make a very good point and are probaby right, I've just never been a big fan. I don't like the "typical" British actor type.
