good episode...as soon as razor said shutdown...u knew something bad was gonna happen

Agreed.

GEEEZ Why did they do that,.. Didn't Aya already know about how Razr Got to save her in the nick of time the first time?

Razor will eventually confess his love or sacrifice himself proving to Aya that he loves her. We all know that is going to happen. However the ride is going to be cool until that happens.

Eh! not my favorite episode! i hate that cliche of "i love you cause you are about to die and then when you DONT... well that was then!" Get outta here with that! He was already pissed when he thought she was dead just say i love you and be done!Plus that " you are a machine!" BS! I am pretty sure since is she advance and had emotion she can perform...her*ahem*womanly duties to perfection!( Data on Star trek could!)... and i dont like Aya being bad! there's too many bad guys already! i probably would have preferred if she cause of her naivety had gotten bad programming and got used... but Hey! my whining aside i dig this show!

Something tells me that Razer and Aya will be the ones to perish when the series ends.

Man! i hope not if Razor and aya bite it!i will be pissed! i am already ready to get pissed if this show is cancelled it's one of the few" serious" superhero shows on right now!

I doubt the writers planned to kill off major characters in the first season. This show went into production as part of the post Blackest Night Green Lantern push. With the live-action movie and animated DVD features, they probably thought GLTAS would be a multi-season hit like The Clone Wars. I'm preparing myself for some important storylines to go unresolved.

You got a point. However, I hope to get some sort of closure before the end.

maybe the will have clpsure via direct to vidio movies

I also doubt. I think WB is done spending money on Hal outside of comics.

That was utterly fantastic. I think this is the best cartoon on tv right now.

I also thought it was a cool episode. I like the fact that they address the language barrier when de-powered and that not all lifeforms can speak english lol.

Also, it was pretty funny when Razor threw the MH head at the Rancor lol.

Yeah, I quite liked the pacing of this show, it's not always an epic episode, but it has episodes that focus on questions that people will still have.

Good episode, and as of late, I've been liking this show a lot more than YJ.

i love this series!

but this felt like a filler episode.

Definitely a filler as it really didn't advance the story, but it was still a fun episode and provides a time lapse until the team runs into the red or blue lanterns again or Aya. Homage to the Rancor was cool!

It was a really funny episode, and we do get to know more about Kilowog and Razer a bit when they are not Lanterns.

The best part of this episode was when the Interceptor was powered by Red Lantern power !

We got to see what really made those characters heroes. Hal is valiant and resourceful. Kilowog is determined and has super strength. Razer is skilled with far more than his ring.

There were quite a few funny moments, too. I chuckled when GL was trying to get them to say "Hal", and Kilowog responded with "Poozer". I laughed (and rewatched it several times) when , after Hal & Wog hit the alien "mother" with massive constructs, Razer chucked the Manhunter head.

Yeah, surprisingly lots of funny moments in the episode,

The Alien looks at Carol Ferris' photo and demands her, and Kilowog just knock him down.
:funny:

and the last dialogue between Razer and Kilowog.

Kilowog : "Did you understand what he was saying ?" (about the pep talk.)

Razer: "Not a word."

Did anyone notice that in the episode "Cold Fury" the guardian called as "The Science Director" (Scar ?) was voiced by Sarah Douglas who played Ursa in the movie Superman II.

I want to think that it was the cost to put on the show vs the ratings. Green Lantern: The Animated Series more than likely cost around $2 million per episode so if you think about it, the entire DC Nation block must have cost a lot more. The thing is that for that $2 million, GLTAS was ranked 21st out of CN's Saturday morning shows (just as a comparison, Star Wars Clone Wars, a similar show was ranked 9th last week). I am sure the studio figured that they might get a better ranking for the same price with a CGI Batman show. Young Justice was ranked higher (11th), but it was for a more mature audience and would compete directly with TT-Go (which probably will be geared for a younger audience). Who really knows why this happened? I certainly hope that the beat writers ask these guys a lot of questions at the upcoming comic book conventions.

Well Green Lanterns stock is pretty much at an all time low because the atrocious movie. They probably should have never made this show to begin with. I'm glad they did though, at least for one season.

Well, it probably served as a test for future series featuring flagship characters like Batman and Superman. It's really too bad since the GL series was extraordinarily good compared to other shows.

This was a good episode! Guessing Razor will either sacrifice himself or come close to dying before Aya realizes she loves him and he her.

I also agree that it's a shame that this show has to come to an end. If we could get one or two more seasons of this or Young Justice I would be a happy camper lol.
