I'd guess it's probably just gonna be a cameo.
There are a lot of other Lanterns more deserving of screentime than Green Man, IMO.

I don't think there's much to this thread. Instead of Green Man, we could just rename the thread to 'Members of the Corps'. There we can talk about Green Man (who's kinda obscure anyway), Kilowog, Mogo, and whomever.

As promised, I have some pics of Green Man. He first appeared in a back story of Green Lantern volume 2, #164. His name is not actually Green Man, but that was what he was called by a traveling Gypsy like race that he encountered in that story. I don't expect him to have a significant role in the film except for maybe a cameo as a nod to the comics. I am sure they are doing this to show the fans that they understand the mythology and are respectful of the source material.

I watched "Clash of the Titans" this week on Zune. In that video, there is a clip of the director doing something like that to help out the actors doing their scenes. The thing is because the monotard is green he doesn't appear in the actual footage. The guy above is lucky he wasn't performing in front of a green screne and wasn't matted out.

Well, going by what has been said, most of the aliens will be CGI. The thing that gets me is that they said that Boodika would be in the film and he is very human (except for her height). I really wonder how many live actors will play members of the corps. This was a question that was not really clarified in the Comic-Con panels.
