They had Leader Megatron today when i got my Brawl and i spent the rest of the day debating on whether or not to go back to pick him up. I never went back, but i know i'll regret it.

I still like my Beast Wars Megatron. I never was a fan of the movie version.

Well...i like the movie one...but he's not my favorite. About a week ago i went to TRU and they had a Deluxe Beast Wars Megatron...and i so wish i had gotten him. But now i'm keeping an eye open for him, maybe i'll see him again.

Voyager Megatron and Prime look crappy compared to the Leader versions, especially with the pointless ice on Voyager Megatron. Takara is doing a Leader Starscream? Will he be the same as if Hasbro were to make him? Also, how's the scale with Voyager Ironhide and Ratchet and Deluxe Bumblebee to Leader Optimus?

Leader OP, Voyager Ironhide & Ratchet and Deluxe Jazz & Bumblebee are in nearly perfect scale. My brother has all 5 of them and they all look good together.

And yes, a Takara Leader Starscream would be the same thing as Hasbro. Takara is also doing a Voyager Bonecrusher, which i'm more stoked for.

No they aren't. Cause if they were Hasbro would be too. The movie line is a bit different from other lines. There is no distinctly Takara version of any movie figure. Some paint variation of like 2 figures, that's it. Takara is following Hasbro's lead on this one. They are even packaged in the Hasbro cards and boxes with Japanese text stickers on them.

So I take it all the movie Transformers I see here in Japan on the pegs are just that? Hasbro figs distributed by Takara?

Mostly. There is some slight paint app differences in 77 BB (window paint is a different blue shade), and 08 BB has a latch/catch that Hasbro's doesn't. But that's all I've heard of.

Note that Basic anything=Fast Action Battler. Notice the lack of more than 3 SS entries. Basic, MD-05 (Protoform), MD-08 (voyager). Blackout only has 2 entires, Basic and MD-01 (voyager). Takara might have considered making a leader SS and a voyager Bonecrusher, but they didn't.
