I was going down with the flu after a long and active weekend, the kind that is so filled with fun and excitement... but that leaves you totally drained

so I woke up feeling a little bit sick this morning and remembered I had to go to this new place I'm starting to work at in august, since I'd been invited by the coordinator to go by, get familiar with the premises, start to break into the whole paperwork and class assignements and stuff software, so as to feel more comfortable when I work there.

but since today I was feeling not nice, I called him and told him I had a doctor's appointment, which I thought would take more than I thought it would, but the coordinator guy told me to just go see the doctor and if I wanted I could go by later, I'm set to go by after I had picked up my kids from school, so I won't have any rushes

now I'm here, at home, enjoying the morning, just squozen two bug seedless lemons and a huge orange into a juice, rolled up, went out and lit up...

now I'm listening to Chris Cornell's solo album, which by the way, I hadn't realized how much of a headphones album that one is... worth giving it a try, I'l make a write up of that one at my music thread

how are your mornings, Hype?
are you at work? at school? at home? are you really busy? are you sick? is it your day off? are you on vacation? what brought you here today?

I would really like to know

It's mid afternoon here, I spent the morning in school, but now I have the afternoon off as I have no classes, so I'm happy :D

I'd be happier if there were something good to eat in though...

I'm at home..bored. July will be a busy month for me though ( I begin planning and writing my second script).

What kind of job is it?

Civilian Ethics at this high brow, private high school

isn't the irony delicious?

Meh, i applied for my first jobs yesterday, and Ill probably get informed who accepted me and not. I don't want a job though, my parents are making me get one. Im just hanging out now, kinda tired, and kinda nervous of where Im going to work at and stuff.....

nothin' like squozen two bug seedless lemons.
I didn't realize what a headphone lemon those bugs squoze!

It's slightly better than a regular H.S pay, I guess. I doubt you can go out and buy a sports car.

I know how you feel, my mum keeps bugging me to find a job this summer. I just don't want to end up in a mind numbing supermarket job.

i'm avoiding work while browsing the web at work. i'm also drinking some coffee.

Well, I have every single stereotypical teenage job available for me

The Cashier at the fast food place
The Bagger Kid at the supermaket
The Concession Stand kid at the movies
and The busboy

You're lucky. My first job at fifteen was washing dishes in a ice cream parlor from 7 o' clock P.M. until 1 o' clock A.M.

My manager didn't exactly pay me minimum wage by the hour, and the tips were split up...so she wasn't really a fan of labor laws.

I would've killed to be a cashier or a concession stand kid.

if you can, I strongly recommend you look around for an album by this great Mexican band, one of the best albums to come out of Mexico during the 90's

the band is called Fobia, the album is called Leche (milk, in spanish) one of the best albums ever made anywhere, social critique, safe sex prevention awareness, cow customes, intelligent musical homages and references to the beatles, earth wind and fire, devo and crossover hard core and heavy metal, while never loosing the childlike playfullnes of their previous albums, a really smart piece of work not meant to be taken seriously

Well I think I might be a grocery bagger because Publix pays 9 dollars an hour for Bagging and gathering shopping carts
