I believe it was a Behind the Music: Metallica special I watched years ago.

I could be wrong, but I believe you may be referring to a scene from 'A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica."

There is a scene where James mocks Axl's list of 'demands' and then there is a small amount of time given to the Stadium Tour and the subsequent Montreal incident.

I've never heard of Axl publicly stating anything with regards to James' injury.

Hypothetically...a lot of Chinese Democracy, the full version, has leaked. Also, hypothetically, it's pretty god damn awesome. Non-hypothetically, I have ordered it from Best Buy already, vinyl and CD.

I saw a bunch of torrent claiming to be "the real deal" but they turned out to be old leaks. They already broke the street date in Mexico. I know some people that have it. I'm getting the CD Wednesday anyways. They're having a listening party here in Atlanta. First 10 to show up get it free and then the rest can buy it there. You also get a free T-Shirt.

When's the actual release date of the album? I definitely plan on buying it when it's released. But Axl better hope this thing is the second coming of Guns N' Roses albums or he's going to look stupid for waiting so long to release it.

Just wondering what everyone's current favourite song on the album is? Personally mines "Better" and "Chinese Democracy" with "Madagascar".

at first Rhiad N' The Bedouins was my least favorite(i actually kinda despised it) but it grew on me and now it's one of my favorites.

I liked it from the start myself. Has a kind of classic GNR feel to it, and is one of the more aggressive songs on the album. If I have one complaint, it's that it isn't really as hard as Appetite. But then again, neither were the Use Your Illusion discs, and they're still fantastic albums.

Better is the first song I heard off of the new album. Heard it a few years ago on bootleg and have always loved it. I can't wait for the CD to come out.

Damn m4a files...seriously, when posting stuff like this, people should use mp3 across the board, because they're compatible with everything...I mean, hypothetically if I downloaded this album (which I would NEVER do) that's something I might say about it.

I really like This I Love (the real version, not the demo version that on the album is called Prostitute...although nothing against it). It's one of the best ballads I think GNR has ever done.

23rd it comes out. And yes, the Dr. Pepper thing is true. You have to go to Dr. Peppers website on the 23rd, and you sign up for a voucher for a free 20 oz bottle. The voucher is only good for a week but hey, free pop is free pop. I plan on buying the album, then listening to it while sipping free Dr. Pepper.
