Anyone else here a fan one here. I kinda like them. Travis is pretty cute. I love Cupid's Chokehold. I can't find any of their previous albums though.

I had their Myspace song on my page for a while. It was pretty rhombus.

I know now you can't add any of their songs to your page. I like Papercuts too.

Ewww...

Seriously, though. After listening to them over the last few months:

"For the Kids" - Pretty good backpack rap
"The Papercut Chronicles" - Decent backpack rap
"As Cruel As School Children" - Emo-ized bulldookie

And seriously, anytime a dude drops the line "pick my nose" in a rap lyric, they kinda lose some respect. :o

I think it's the hair.:( I'm not too into piercings.

meh......

They were better back in the day than now.

I like them better now than before... I've been a fan for a while, they played at my college when I was there a few years ago and it was a blast

I picked up one of their cds. Not bad, but I haven't decided whether I like the cd enough to keep it.

Their new stuff is listenable, but I've heard that their older stuff if better, which makes me interested. Sadly, it's nigh-impossible to get ahold of that stuff.

I am going to see them live in next month at islington academy which should be cool because its a small venue.

I'm not a huge fan of them, but I dig the song they did for TMNT.

Anywhoo, Travis DJed at an after party and I was the VIP cameraman, which was pretty awesome. He seems like a cool guy. Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy was billed as DJing with him (and Ashlee came along), but he didn't do jack. Good thing too, 'cause Fall Out Boy is just about the worst band out there.

I have no clue who they were and thought that they were another bunch or whiny white kids that Fall out boy introduced to the music world ( ala Panic at the disco)

They just performed at my college a week or so ago, but it rained so they were moved indoors and tickets got real limited. Didn't go and don't really listen to them anyways.

here's a formula to know if you like an album:

if you buy an album just because of the singles and after listening you only still like the singles, give the cd back and get some store credit, you can always buy those songs on itunes

if you just like half of the songs, put it away and listen to it again in a year or so, some albums are like that, they take their time to sink in

if you like 80% of the songs, it's a keeper and the songs you like less will end up winning you over, unless the artist in question names the album "nine really cool songs and three very crappy ones"

The artists get paid if you buy them on itunes anyway, so it doesn't really matter. I could never understand why someone was pissed that they had to pay 99 cents for a song.
